What is SHMS?

Which departments does it cover?
Reception, OPD, inpatient wards and ICU, operation theatre, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, billing and accounts, with a separate permission set for each staff role.
Does it support ABDM and ABHA?
Yes. You can create and link ABHA numbers, print ABHA cards, manage consent requests and exchange records with India’s health-data network.
Can patients book and view reports online?
Yes. Patients can book appointments on the hospital website and use the portal or mobile app to see their prescriptions, lab results, admissions and bills.
Does it send WhatsApp messages?
Yes. It sends automated WhatsApp messages for 13 events, including appointment reminders, report-ready alerts, bills and discharge, alongside email and in-app notifications.
